Let us never forget....."En tierras agenas, yo me vo murir"

Mark A. - United Kingdom

- It is obvious that this memorial should be built and that all peoples that suffered the tragedy of the holocaust be recognized and remembered in memorial that their descendants can read and appreciate. I hope you will see this done. Thank you.

- Mon arrière-grand-père, mon arrière-grand-mère DE MAYO sont mort à Auschwitz ainsi que mon grand-père qui s'appelait comme moi Sylvain Yoel
.

Sylvain Y. - France

As my dear late grandmother's whole family lived in Salonika before the Holocaust and died in Auschwitz, this will also be to remember them.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Rachel C. - Israel

- Me alegro ke la ora esta aki por esto i ke nadie va a olvidar este terror i lagrimas ke nuestra famiya paso en este lugar.

Haim L. - USA

- I myself am a survivor of Auschwitz-Birkenau and both my parents were gassed and cremated there together with over a thousand people from my hometown, the island of Rhodes, where Ladino or Djudezmo had been spoken for 450 years.

I wholeheartedly support this effort.

Stella L. - USA

Daniel B. - France

- This is long overdue. We hope that the petition will yield the result we anticipate. Thank you for calling this important issue to our attention.

Joseph and Bernice S. - USA

- Bravo a Haim Vidal Sephiha i a todos ke le estan ayudando! Ke esta verguensa sea bien tapada--i presto--por sus biervos i sus esforsos! I ke veyan todos ke la lingua djudeo-espanyola, la lingua de los muestros keridos ke mataron, ya esta biviendo i enfloresiendo!

Gloria A. - USA

- This effort is long overdue and of great importance in correcting a certain lack of balance in our understanding of the Holocaust and how it affected our communities.

Nicholas S. - Greece

.Salvador S.P. - España

- We the descendents of the Shoah survivors, have an eternal duty not only to remember what happened but also to make sure that the memory will remain alive in the generations to come.

Liza A. - Greece

Ils parlaient tous Judéo-Espagnol. ALBAHARI SARAH, ISAAC, ANDRE. Du coté paternel: Hongrois.

Jacqueline B. - France

- It won't bring them back, but it will help us to remember who they were.

Vicki W. - USA

- My ancestors were Jews that lived in Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. Isabel Aguiló was burned at the stake by the Catholic Inquisition for refusing to convert to the catholic faith.

Josefina A. - Puerto Rico

Romain R. - France

- I sign this petition in the name of my family, the Ferros from the Greek island of Corfu, some of them Ladino speakers, who were deported to their deaths at Auschwitz in June 1944 as described in the film "Shoah." Let a plaque containing this language be placed there in their memory.

Daniel B. - USA

Pablo Leonel M.D. - Argentina

- I have seen the plight of the Greek inmates in Auschwitz, Buna, Furstengrube, Buchenwald and Dora Nordhausen. Since many Jews from Saloniki, did not understand German to well, their torture was undescribable.

Benjamin J. - USA
